Rita joined the END Fund in September 2022 and serves as an Associate, Strategy and Operations.
Prior to joining Rita worked for the Institute of Development Studies as a Project Support Officer for the Governance cluster and the Health and Nutrition cluster. In this role, her main tasks included proposal development, managing a portfolio of projects, and administrative and event logistical support. Her experience also includes working for local NGOs in Cyprus on several projects regarding peace education, peacebuilding and human rights, and in Greece with young asylum seekers and the local youth.
Rita graduated from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden with a MSc in Global Studies, with a focus on Peace and Development. She also holds a BA in International Politics and Spanish from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
In her free time, Rita enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling to new countries to get to know different cultures. She is also fluent in Italian and Spanish.
