Prior to joining the END Fund, Philomena worked briefly at Namati as the Recruitment and Talent Development Manager as part of their Global Cross-cutting team, supporting recruitment. She previously supported recruitment and onboarding at Village Enterprise growing their team by bringing onboard 200 new hires in the one year that she spent there.
She is a HR Generalist by profession with a keen interest in Recruitment and People Operations. She has experience in human resource management; recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, contract management, off-boarding, designing and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Philomena graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Kampala International University and holds a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the College of Human Resource Management.
Outside of her work, Philomena loves spending time with her family exploring new eateries, gardening, and traveling.
