Michael serves as an Associate Director, Financial Compliance, at the END Fund. He is responsible for ensuring 100% financial compliance, including program partner due diligence, through internal and external financial reviews.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Mike worked in the NGO sector, for RefuSHE Kenya, an organization serving vulnerable refugee young women, girls and their children, as the Head of Finance, providing technical lead in financial planning & budgeting, financial management, accounting, compliance, reporting, supply chain management, audit coordination, and administration.
Before then, Mike worked in the telecommunications sector, with New Edge Solutions Ltd, as the company accountant.
Michael is very passionate about designing, implementing and improving processes to achieve financial and operational excellence.
Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Maseno University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
When not working, Mike loves traveling to new destinations and spending time with his family and friends.
