Jake joined the END Fund in December 2022 as an Associate, Investor Relations. In this role, Jake assists with the END Fund’s fundraising initiatives, supporting the stewardship of investors, identifying and responding to new funding opportunities, and assisting with cross-departmental collaboration and data management, amongst various additional day to day activities.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Jake worked at the University of Birmingham. Firstly, for an education-focussed research centre where he assisted with digital communications, funder reporting and events management, in addition to broad day to day research-related support. Jake then moved into the University’s Research Strategy Department, where he managed a portfolio of grant applications supporting academics with bids targeted at EU & international funding channels, overseeing bids arising from two of the University’s five Colleges.
Jake holds an MSc in International Development from the University of Birmingham and BA in Modern & Contemporary History from Queen Mary, University of London. In his spare time, Jake enjoys traveling to new destinations, discovering new restaurants, both playing and watching football, and exploring the Cornish coastline, be it via paddle-board or on foot.
