Christine Wächter-Campbell

Co-owner, Winston Wächter Fine Art Gallery

Christine Wächter-Campbell is the co-owner of Winston Wächter Fine Art, a contemporary art gallery and consulting firm based in New York and Seattle. Founded in 1996 with her now Seattle-based partner Stacey Winston-Levitan, the gallery has been located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York since 2008.

Raised in Switzerland, Ms. Wächter-Campbell received her graduate degree in art history from the University of Zurich. In 1985, she worked at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. In Paris, Ms. Wächter-Campbell headed the public relations office of internationally renowned artist Christo and assisted on “The Pont Neuf Wrapped” project. In 1986, she began working at the Blum Helman Gallery in New York;in 1989, Ms. Wächter-Campbell became the director of the Blum Helman Gallery.

Ms. Wächter-Campbell currently serves on the END Fund Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York. She is also a member of the art committee for The Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation in New York, and is actively involved with the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
