As Senior Director of Investor Relations, Bridie works with activist philanthropists in Europe who are committed to harnessing the power of collaborative philanthropy to control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases.
Formerly Head of Principal Giving at Oxfam, Bridie led the research and launch of a new department focussing on £1m+ gifts, including Islamic finance, and secured a groundbreaking multi-million-pound forgivable loan during the institutional suspensions of 2018. She has worked with high-net-worth clientele in the private and non profit sectors for over a decade, advising philanthropists on a wide range of giving across health, humanitarian, development, education, and the arts. Bridie currently serves on the board of Amref Health Africa UK, Africa’s leading health charity.
Bridie believes in the potential for philanthropy to be strategic and impactful but also joyful, and enjoys building deep, meaningful connections between philanthropists and the people and places they support. She holds an MSc in International Development from Birkbeck University and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds. Bridie speaks English and French and is based in Oxford, UK. A seasoned traveler, she loves opera and ballet, long-distance running, cycle touring, and spending time in the Alps with her family.
