Adanna John is an HR leader with over a decade of experience in strategic people management. She specializes in employee benefits, HR compliance, performance management, and organizational development. Born on the Caribbean island of Grenada, she brings a unique perspective to creating inclusive and effective HR programs.
Before joining the END Fund, Adanna worked as a senior HR partner for a healthcare tech startup, overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations across multiple states. Her focus areas included benefits design and administration, HR technology implementation, multi-state compliance, and employee relations.
Previously, as Senior HR Manager for a large non-profit organization, she led comprehensive HR initiatives for a diverse workforce of 1,400 employees, including union and non-union staff. She managed all aspects of benefits administration, staff development, workforce planning, and employee engagement programs while serving as a trusted advisor to organizational leadership.
A graduate of Stony Brook University with a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a SHRM-certified professional, Adanna combines academic excellence with practical innovation in HR solutions. Beyond her professional achievements, she is an avid traveler who enjoys spending time with her two children.
