Summary: In 2022, the END Fund commissioned Deloitte to conduct an economic impact study on the elimination of the five most common neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Nigeria. According to the report, the Nigerian economy will add approximately $19B in increased productivity if the country continues to stay on track to meet its 2030 elimination targets for the NTDs.
This event has been designed to utilize the report, share insights from NTD experts, enable key stakeholders to understand the benefits of eliminating NTDs, highlight the roles of different partners in the funding of work to end NTDs, and to identify investment pathways for funding NTD interventions in Nigeria.
