Tegan currently serves as the Associate Director, Media and Public Relations at the END Fund. In this role, he supports institutional brand-building, press inquiries, advocacy and fundraising efforts. Prior to joining the END Fund, Tegan was a social impact and media/communications consultant. In the nonprofit world, he has spearheaded a range of philanthropic and international development initiatives in the United States and Africa.
Tegan has addressed issues relating to global health, gender/social equality, human rights, education, racial equity, etc. He has worked on initiatives at Tides Inc., Transparency International, EngenderHealth, Southern California Grantmakers, etc. Previously, he has worked in the entertainment television world, and has been a part of Daytime Emmy® Award-winning talk shows such as “The View” (Walt Disney Television), “The Rachael Ray Show” (CBS Television Distribution) as well as NBC Universal and BET Networks. Currently, Tegan sits on the board of Assemble. Inc., a tech community space for arts and STEM learning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
At age 19, Tegan earned his B.A. in History from Duke University. He is also an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University, where he studied organizational behavior and global/public affairs. Tegan has an executive certificate in business administration from Notre Dame. As a PhD candidate, his research presently focuses on enhancing health care delivery in Nigeria through the application of management perspectives in public administration. Outside of work, Tegan loves to dance, listen to Afrobeats, and travel.
