Martha brings 4 years of experience in global health with a focus on program implementation, content development and advocacy. Prior to the END Fund, Martha worked with a range of international organizations from the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) to Amref Health Africa in different capacities such as program coordinator, project management and advocacy and communication. At CHAI, Martha supported the team on developing and maintaining tools & processes to facilitate program communication, coordination & management; help prepare strong updates and reports to donors and CHAI management regarding vaccines work across all 13 geographies; contribute, in collaboration with global team colleagues, to the successful planning and execution of select programmatic projects; and support vaccines team management’s efforts to strengthen program processes, effectiveness and team cohesiveness.
At Amref Health Africa, Martha supported the Institute of Capacity Development team by supporting development and roll out of online content for training of health workers on NCDs management, evaluation of health curriculum in higher learning institutions in Kenya and training of youth SRHR grass-root organizations on advocacy strategy development.
Martha received her MPH from the School of Public Health (SPH), University of Ghana. She also holds a Bachelor (Honors) in Chemistry from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, critiquing new releases (tv and the big screen), recently getting into hiking and can provide awesome recommendations for the best shows on Netflix. Martha lives in Nairobi with her daughter.
