Ivy Sempele

Senior Associate Director, Programs

Ivy joined the END Fund in March 2018 and serves as a Senior Associate Director, Programs. In this role, Ivy supports the Program Director in program management and oversight for a portfolio of neglected tropical disease (NTD) control programs.

Prior to the END Fund, Ivy worked with a range of international organizations from the World Health Organization (WHO) to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in different capacities such as grant writing, project management support and information management. At the WHO, Ivy supported the team on procurement and supply management of antiretroviral treatment purchased by national programs in low and middle-income countries. At UNHCR, Ivy supported the Programs team by preparing communication materials and donor reports for the various evolving emergencies such as the South Sudan emergency and other humanitarian needs within the East and Horn of Africa region.

Ivy received her MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the City University of New York (CUNY), Queens College.

In her spare time, Ivy enjoys traveling, hiking and reading novels.
