Carlie currently serves as an Associate Program Director at the END Fund. In this role, she assists with the END Fund’s program portfolio in Nigeria and Angola as well as managing data and systems for the Programs team. She holds a Masters of Science in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, with a focus on Global Environmental Health Sciences.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Carlie served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Vanuatu where she worked alongside local health workers to increase awareness and improve infrastructure and service delivery for reproductive health, antenatal care, and water and sanitation. As a member of the Gender and Development committee, she helped create workshops to ensure gender equality in community development programs, teach life skills, and decrease gender based violence. While studying in New Orleans, she also gained experience in environmental risk management, liaising directly with community based organizations to assess and identify potential health hazards.
In addition to her work at the END Fund, Carlie is a volunteer runner with Back on My Feet NYC and a member of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of NYC Leadership Board.
