Benjamin Snyder

Associate Director, Legal Operations

Ben serves as the Associate Director, Legal Operations, supporting our in-house counsel and Senior Director of Global Operations & Governance, specifically surrounding contracts management, legal systems, and process, while managing policy implementation.

Ben began his career as a Community Extension Agent with the Peace Corps located in Lundazi, Zambia under the Community Improvement Project (CHIP). He spent two years focusing on the prevention of the six major “Health Thrusts” of Zambia, which included: HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, child nutrition, safe motherhood, and water and sanitation. Previously, Ben also has worked as a Client Service Manager with Whitman-Walker Health in Washington, D.C. serving the LGBTQIA BIPOC communities with focus on creating equitable access to HIV/AIDS care for patients.

Prior to joining the End Fund, Ben had the privilege of working through the Pandemic at NYC Health + Hospitals, Test & Trace Corps. Ben served as a liaison in the DOE Situation Room, conducting case investigations and contact tracing for COVID-19 cases in DOE facilities; and as a Public Health Advisor, primarily serving Queens and Bronx communities to ensure families had the resources and support they needed to isolate or quarantine to cut off the chain of transmission.

Ben received his MSc in Development Studies with an emphasis on Global Health and Aid and Development from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS) University of London. He also holds a BA in Communications from Howard University.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys catching the latest indie films, amapiano/house concerts, and exploring the amazing culinary scene in New York City.
