Alex Sveikauskas

Associate, Programs

Alex currently serves as an Associate, Programs at the END Fund. In this role, she assists with the END Fund’s program portfolio in several countries.

Prior to becoming a member of the END Fund team, Alex was a Program Coordinator for Open Society Foundations’ youth program and strategy unit. She has also worked on migration integration and refugee-related projects for the International Red Cross’ European Regional Office and the Higher Education Alliance for Refugees.

Alex also served as as an assistant for New York State Assemblymember Kevin Cahill, a freelance journalist, and was a Writing Fellow at Bard College.

Alex holds an MA in public policy with distinction from Central European University in Budapest and a BA in anthropology from Bard College. During her studies, she worked with grassroots organizations supporting refugees, at-risk youth, and other marginalized populations in Greece, Ukraine, Hungary, and the United States.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid international traveler and fitness fanatic who enjoys volunteering with community-based groups in NYC.
