Edberte joined the END Fund in October 2018 and serves as an Associate, Programs. In this role, she supports on management and oversight for a portfolio of neglected tropical disease (NTD) control programs.
Prior to the END Fund, Edberte worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) where she helped manage USAID subgrants for the elections program in Mali and supported programs in DRC and Côte-d’Ivoire in different capacities such as donor report writing and project management. As a Communications Officer at Food for the Poor, she developed a strategic plan to raise awareness of the living conditions of the poor in Haiti and coordinated all public and external activities for the organization. Edberte also worked with the Quebec Government Office in DC and the Canadian Embassy in Haiti where her role as a Communication and Public Affairs Assistant consisted of researching and writing content for various promotional materials and online platforms such as newsletters, web and social media and the organization of public events.
Edberte received her MSc in Political Science with a specialization in Public and International Affairs from l’Université de Montreal, Canada. She also holds a Bachelor in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
In her spare time, Edberte loves relaxing and exploring different cuisines. She also enjoys reading, walking, and taking pictures.
