Sara currently serves as an Associate Director, Programs at the END Fund. In this role, she assists with the END Fund’s program portfolio under the Reaching the Last Mile Fund. She holds a Masters of Science in One Health and Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Royal Veterinary College, and a BSc in Ecology from the University of Delaware.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Sara worked for the International Rescue Committee in Sierra Leone. While there, she worked on emergency response operations during the 2014 – 2016 Ebola Outbreak and supported grants management of the country program portfolio. Previously, Sara served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea where she worked alongside local farmers to promote organic agricultural techniques, reforestation, and malaria prevention. She speaks English and French, and dabbles in Spanish, Sousou, and Krio.
Outside of the office, Sara enjoys spending her time exploring the outdoors, visiting as many of New York City’s museums and galleries as she can, and playing her bassoon.
