Lelamo Mukhtar Turgemu says he was fortunate when he was young. He earned more than others working on his farm in Ethiopia. He married his wife and had ten children. However, Lelamo was forced to stop working after his leg irreversibly swelled because of lymphatic filariasis.

“I pray that my children have a good life and they stay healthy..I am praying that they learn and are able to improve their lives.”
